How to Use Bible Text Search
Type the word, phrase, or partial word you want to find. Choose the type of search to perform: Searching for an exact phrase will return matches for the exact text you enter (case-insensitive). Searching for all words will bring back verses that contain all of the words you enter.* Searching for any words will bring back verses that contain any of the words you enter.* Then check whether to search the Old Testament or New Testament. All matches will be returned in sequential order.
*All words and any words searches omit words less than 4 letters long, as well as very common words.
How to Use Browse the Bible
Simply choose the book you wish to start browsing. Check the box to also view a background essay on the book you've selected. From your starting point, you can browse page-by-page through the entire Bible Bible, 100 verses per page.
